Q. How accurate are the colours in your photos?
A. We have compared the photos on our own computer to the actual product and found them to be the correct shade of colouring but due to all computers and devices having different resolution settings, we would say to expect a possible margin of difference in colouring.
Q. How big is the fabric?
A. We sell our fabric in 3 possible sizes - Fat Quarter, Half Metre and by the metre. Fat quarters are typically approx. 50cm x 40-55cm. Half metres will be 50cm length, and full metre 100cm, but the width will vary depending on the width of the fabric. All our fabrics are hand cut, so please allow for slight discrepancies. What Is Your Packaging Like?
We are aiming to reduce single-use plastics as far as possible. We have been gradually switching over to more environmentally friendly options. Currently, all UK parcels are sent in paper/cardboard and paper tape, with international parcels due to soon follow suit. We have switched many product packaging to cardboard and paper alternatives and will be consistently looking to make more environmentally conscious decisions. Although it is always a challenge to make any retail shop zero waste, we are trying to move closer to this aim while maintaining our quality standards.
Q. Is there a minimum order amount?
A. No, you may order as much or little as you like. Shipping to all UK addresses is free regardless of how much you buy.
Q. How can I pay?
A. Making your payment couldn't be simpler. Once you have placed your items into your shopping cart, and have double checked everything you need is there, click on proceed to checkout. You will be taken to the paypal payment page. If you have a paypal account you can simply log in to pay the usual way. If you do not have a paypal account then there is no need to worry. You can either create an account or you can pay without logging in with a credit or debit card (there may be a charge on credit card use). At this time, this is the only payment method available. It is a secure service which gives you buyer protection on your purchase and accepts many forms of payment.
Q. How quickly do you reply to queries?
A. We aim to respond to all emails within 48 hours. If you have not received an email response, please double check your junk folder in your emails just in case our response was filtered there by your email provider. If it is still not present, it may be worth resending your email in case a problem arose and we did not receive this the first time around.
Q. Are all the items shown in stock?
A. We aim to keep everything we sell in stock. Any order placed is subject to availability as we do sell elsewhere. We usually try to underestimate stock levels so if you require more than is showing available, then please do email us for an exact amount left. Should you order something that has gone out of stock, we will contact you offering either a replacement or refund of the items not in stock. We keep a close eye on our stock levels so should something go out of stock before we can get a resupply, we will mark this as 'out of stock' on our shop pages.
Q. How secure are my personal details on ordering?
A. We take your data privacy very seriously which is why all transactions take place through the security of Paypal. Once your order has been completed, your email address and a list of the items that were ordered are stored on our mailing list. This is not shared with anyone else. As a valued customer, we may email you from time to time with product updates and sewing tutorials. If at any point you would prefer your details to be removed from our list, please either contact us to let us know or click unsubscribe at the bottom of any of our emails.
Have any of your fabrics been CE Tested?
To sell toys in the EU, they must pass a series of tests to confirm the safety of the toy. One component of the testing is EN71-3 which determines whether there are any elements of the fabric which could cause harm to a child if it were chewed or swallowed. Can I Visit You Or Collect My Order?
We are an online business and are not currently open for visits or collections. If you are ordering online and you are very local to us, we will often hand-deliver your parcel on the same day for no extra cost. Obviously, this is at our discretion and may not always be possible.
