How much is shipping?
At Sewing Bee Fabrics we have just 1 single cost for shipping to the UK regardless of the amount you order. This will always be £0.00 to all UK addresses. That's right, all our shipping is FREE, we don't charge you a penny. The price you see of each item, is the price you pay whether you buy 1 item or 20 different items, our shipping is zero pounds. This also includes free delivery to outlying UK areas which are often charged a higher rate for example areas such as Jersey, Guernsey and the highlands.
How long will my delivery take?
Depending on the size of your order will determine how it is sent. For most orders we will use Royal Mail second class post which is estimated at 3-5 working days (although can be earlier than this). For larger orders we will use a courier service which should be slightly faster than second class post.
Is there a faster option?
We now have an optional extra to upgrade your postage to first class UK delivery for a flat rate of 50p.

We regret that at this time we have temporarily had to stop direct sales to Europe on our website because of tax rules. However, if you want to contact us with your requirements, we can make a custom listing for you on our eBay shop which would comply with the current Europe tax requirements. We think it's important to be upfront with postage charges, so please see below for a full explanation of how our international postage costs are calculated for each country we ship to.
Our international shipping is calculated on a per item basis, split between light, medium and heavy products. If all items in the parcel are small and light e.g. single sewing machine feet, single threads, KAM snaps, ribbons etc, then they will be sent via the "Light" postage rate.
If items are a bit bigger and heavier, or there is a mix of small and medium products, they will be sent via the "Medium" rate. This rate covers most fabrics and most of the larger haberdashery items.
A few of our items fall into the "heavy" category - this includes neoprene and scuba fabrics and our full set of 73 embroidery threads. If any of these heavy items are in the basket, then postage will be charged at the heavy rate.
Please note that some countries may incur import charges or customs fees on arrival of your parcel. These payments will be determined by the country you are in. We have no control over whether any fee will be imposed. Therefore buyers will be responsible for any additional fees incurred.Â
